Loch Leven’s Larder opened in September 2005 creating a fabulous contemporary agricultural building situated in one of Scotland’s most picturesque locations, overlooking Loch Leven and surrounded by the magnificent countryside of Kinross-shire. The Farm Larder and Deli boast some of the finest foods and Scottish produce. This is complimented by our contemporary Retail Shop which is proving to be retail therapy heaven. Our Farm Café menu gives you the opportunity to taste some of our home grown vegetables, herbs, meats and eggs – focusing on freshness, simplicity, locality and seasonality.

Our Produce This is an area that we like to talk about, as our fruit and vegetables, sourced in Scotland, are ultra-fresh and are on our shelves days before the “ground to shelf” life provided by many supermarkets. We prefer to stock local produce whether from local farms, market gardens or even your vegetable plot out back! Many of our Honeys, Jams, Sauces and Chutneys are made locally in the Tayside area. All fresh raspberries during the June to November period are supplied via Jock McFarlane’s farm, Easter Rattray, Blairgowrie and our strawberries come from Colin Grant's farm at Essendy, Blairgowrie. We sell our soft fruit the day it is picked! If you wish any soft fruit for jam making please contact us.

The Courtyard

‘The Courtyard’ at Mains of Taymouth is situated in the beautiful village of Kenmore, at the mouth of the famous River Tay. The Courtyard has been constructed around an open decked area with a view of the Loch. We also offer free car-parking for anyone visiting Kenmore to the order of some 80 vehicles. Never worry about parking in this beautiful Highland resort again. We even offer shaded parking areas and fresh drinking water to ensure your pets are as comfortable as you are on your perfect day out.
